Looking for premium, commercial-grade comfort without the brand-new price tag?
This batch of Haworth Zody Classic task chairs (manufactured in 2017) represents the golden standard of ergonomic design. Built to last, 20+ years in high-use office environments, these chairs offer the legendary support Haworth is famous for, featuring a plush seat cushion and unparalleled adjustability.
✨ Why Choose the Zody Classic?
Many ergonomic enthusiasts actively seek out the Classic (Zody I) generation over the newer Zody II because of its superior seat comfort:
Plush, Cushy Seat: Unlike the firmer, rigid seats found on newer models, the Classic features a thick, soft foam cushion designed for cloud-like comfort during long 8+ hour workdays.
Striking Designer Aesthetic: This batch features a highly durable, commercial-grade textured woven seat fabric in a modern mustard/marigold geometric pattern, paired beautifully with a slate gray mesh back and matching gray frame/arm pads. It’s a sophisticated look that stands out in any home office or workspace.
🔧 Key Ergonomic Adjustments Included:
Asymmetrical Lumbar Support: Mimics the natural curve of your spine, allowing you to fine-tune support on either the left or right side of your lower back.
4D Fully Adjustable Arms: Adjust up/down, forward/backward, side-to-side, and pivot inward/outward for perfect elbow alignment.
Synchronous Tilt & Tension Control: Effortless recline with a smooth, balanced feel.
Seat Depth & Pneumatic Height Adjustment: Customize the seat pan slide and height to fit your exact height and leg length.
🧼 Our "Like-New" Prep Process (Not Refurbished—Just Cared For!)
These chairs are listed as Pre-Owned, meaning they feature original, high-quality OEM parts. However, we don't just pull them from a warehouse and stick them in a box. Before packaging, every single chair undergoes our thorough detailing process:
Deep Cleaned & Sanitized: We professionally steam-clean and sanitize the upholstered seat fabric, thoroughly wash down the slate gray mesh back, and detail the frame and arms.
100% Fully Tested: Every single mechanical function—including the gas cylinder, tilt tension, and arm adjustments—is rigorously tested to guarantee it works flawlessly.
Note: As these are high-quality pre-owned commercial chairs, they may show minor cosmetic scuffs on the plastic frame or base, but they are free of any structural damage or fabric tears.
